Private Safaris in Tanzania
All National Parks of Tanzania
Tanzania is an East African country known for its vast wilderness areas. Almost 40% of its surface has been declared as national parks. The various areas include the plains of famous Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Tanzania is also home to the Great Migration, when 1.5 million wildebeest leave the dry lands, following the rains in search of green pastures in Maasai Mara in Kenya. This is one of the greatest natural events on the planet as you can witness predators following the herds in a truly breath taking spectacle. Please read here to find out about the best time for safari in Tanzania. While the Serengeti can be visited all year around, the best time to witness the Great Migration is in January & February and between August and October.

Usually all guests arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and then continue to either Moshi Town for Kilimanjaro hiking or to Arusha Town for Safaris. The Northern Safari Circuit is leading travelers to some of the most famous sites of Tanzania. The national parks offer spectacular game drives, beautiful lodges and stunning natural wonders such as the Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera that is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometers (100 square miles). Southern Safari Circuit Tanzania
The Southern Circuit Safaris includes some of the most remarkable and less visited national parks in Tanzania. It includes Selous Game Reserve which is shaped by Rufiji River, offering a large retreat area for hippos and crocodiles. Another famous area is Mikumi National Park that offers a stunning variety of elephant herds and giraffes. Due to its more remote areas the Southern Circuit has remained undiscovered by most tourists and will give you a further insight of the true heart of Africa. Right next to Mikumi & Selous you can discover Tanzania’s tallest waterfalls at Udzungwa Mountains Nationalpark. A very remote and hidden gem in the Southern Safari Circuit is Ruaha National Park, famous for its fantastic game drives, large elephant herds and authentic experience. Many times your jeep will be the only trace of the modern world as you travel to discover the natural treasures that Tanzania has to offer.
Western Safari Circuit Tanzania
The Western Circuit Safaris presents another unique opportunity to escape the tourist crowds and enter the heart of Africa.
